Meet Dr. Jennifer
Dr. Jennifer Guan PT, DPT, MA, WCS, PRPC, CSCS holds a Board Certification in Pelvic Health through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, a credential awarded to fewer than 1,000 physical therapists nationwide. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California where she double majored in Neuroscience and Psychology. She then attended Columbia University, earning both a Masters in Exercise Physiology and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. In addition to her physical therapy credentials, Jennifer is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, bringing a comprehensive, movement-based approach to her practice. Furthermore, she is trained as a birth doula and Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. In parallel with her clinical work, Jennifer is a published researcher in the field of physical therapy.
As a Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Herman and Wallace Institute, Jennifer treats patients of all genders and integrates her expertise in functional movement and pelvic health to help her patients optimize their quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys boxing, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Jennifer is additionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
